My primary intention in creating this composition was to depict Christ’s face in profile, allowing for a seamless fit that enables a smooth finish at the back of the head. This head position provided adequate space to integrate the other elements of the composition without compromising the characteristic contrast in scale.
"The concept behind this project was to recreate and adapt an oil painting— a reference my client provided— along with a clock. I incorporated the clock into the background of the composition, using a size contrast that ensured the hands remained legible at a specific time chosen by my client. This composition connects a 16th-century-style artwork of a woman with my client’s personal sentiment.
